Sukta 7.56
भूरि चक्र मरुतः पित्र्याण्युक्थानि या वः शस्यन्ते पुरा चित् । मरुद्भिरुग्रः पृतनासु साळ्हा मरुद्भिरित्सनिता वाजमर्वा ॥
bhū́ri cakra marutaḥ pitryā́ṇy ukthā́ni yā́ vaḥ śásyante purā́ cit | marúdbhir ugráḥ pṛ́tanāsu sā́ḷhā marúdbhir ít sánitā vā́jam árvā ||
Viel habt ihr getan, o Maruts: die väterlichen Hymnen, die euch schon in alter Zeit gesungen wurden. Mit den Maruts wird der Grimmige zum Sieger in den Schlachten; mit den Maruts gewinnt wahrlich auch das Ross die Fülle der Kraft.
