इमं नरो मरुतः सश्चतानु दिवोदासं न पितरं सुदासः । अविष्टना पैजवनस्य केतं दूणाशं क्षत्रमजरं दुवोयु ॥

Transliteration

imáṃ naro marutaḥ saścátā́nu dívodāsaṃ ná pitáraṃ sudā́saḥ | aviṣṭánā paijavánasya kétaṃ dūṇā́śaṃ kṣatrám ajáraṃ duvoyú ||

Translation

O Maruts, ihr Starken, begleitet diesen Sudās, wie Söhne dem Vater folgen, wie (Menschen) Divodāsa folgen. Ihr habt das Bannerzeichen des Paijavana ins Dasein gewollt — eine ungebrochene, unbezwingbare Herrschaft, alterslos, begierig nach dem Werk der Darbringung und des Dienstes.
