यस्य श्रवो रोदसी अन्तरुर्वी शीर्ष्णेशीर्ष्णे विबभाजा विभक्ता । सप्तेदिन्द्रं न स्रवतो गृणन्ति नि युध्यामधिमशिशादभीके ॥

Transliteration

yásya śrávo ródasī antárurvī́ śīrṣṇéśīrṣṇe vibabhā́jā vibhaktā́ | saptéd índraṃ ná sraváto gṛṇanti ní yudhyāmadhím āśiśād abhī́ke ||

Translation

Indra, dessen begeisterter Ruhm die beiden Welten in ihrer Weite erfüllt und seine Herrschaft von Gipfel zu Gipfel austeilt — ihn preisen sieben ṛṣi wie strömende Wasser. In der Nahbegegnung hat er den kämpfenden Angreifer niedergepresst und den Streit zum Nachgeben gebracht.
