Sukta 7.103
यदीमेनाँ उशतो अभ्यवर्षीत्तृष्यावतः प्रावृष्यागतायाम् । अख्खलीकृत्या पितरं न पुत्रो अन्यो अन्यमुप वदन्तमेति ॥
yádīm enā́m̐ uśató abhyàvarṣīt tṛṣyā́vataḥ prāvṛ́ṣy ā́gatāyām | akhkhalīkṛ́tyā pitáraṃ ná putró anyó anyám úpa vádantam eti ||
Als der Regen auf diese Dürstenden niederströmte beim Kommen der Regenzeit, da geht — stammelnd, zur Rede sich ringend — einer zum andern, der spricht, wie ein Sohn zum Vater; die neugeborene Rede sucht ihren Ursprung und lernt von neuem ihre Rhythmen.
