Sukta 6.22
तमीमह इन्द्रमस्य रायः पुरुवीरस्य नृवतः पुरुक्षोः । यो अस्कृधोयुरजरः स्वर्वान्तमा भर हरिवो मादयध्यै ॥
tám īmahe índram asyá rāyáḥ puru-vī́rasya nṛ-vátaḥ puru-kṣóḥ | yó askṛ́dhoyur ajáraḥ svàr-vāntám ā́ bhara hari-vo mādayádhyai ||
Ihn suchen wir hier — Indra — um dieses reiche Gut der Fülle: heldenreich, an Männern voll, an Mehrung überreich. Den, der im Geben nicht versagt, alterslos, des Himmels Licht besitzend — bring ihn her, o Harivas, Herr der falben Rosse, zu unserem rauschhaften Kraftjubel.
