व्यक्तून्रुद्रा व्यहानि शिक्वसो व्यन्तरिक्षं वि रजांसि धूतयः । वि यदज्राँ अजथ नाव ईं यथा वि दुर्गाणि मरुतो नाह रिष्यथ ॥
vy àktūn rudrā́ vy áhāni śíkvaso vy àntárikṣaṃ ví rájāṃsi dhūtáyaḥ | ví yád ájrān ájatha nā́va īṃ yáthā ví dúrgāṇi maruto nā́ha riṣyatha ||
Ihr Rudras, die Kundigen, breitet die Nächte aus, breitet die Tage aus; ihr schüttelt den Mittelraum und die Weiten. Wenn ihr die ungebrochenen Flächen vorantreibt wie ein Boot durch die Wasser, durchfahrt ihr die schwierigen Durchgänge, o Maruts, ohne Schaden und ohne Fehl.
