Sukta 5.44
यो जागार तमृचः कामयन्ते यो जागार तमु सामानि यन्ति । यो जागार तमयं सोम आह तवाहमस्मि सख्ये न्योकाः ॥
yó jāgā́ra tám ṛ́caḥ kāmayante yó jāgā́ra tám u sāmā́ni yanti | yó jāgā́ra tám ayám sóma āha távā́ham asmi sakhyé nyòkāḥ ||
Wer erwacht ist — nach ihm verlangen die ṛc‑Worte; wer erwacht ist — zu ihm gehen die sāman‑Gesänge. Wer erwacht ist — von ihm spricht dieser Soma: »Dein bin ich in Freundschaft, bei dir wohnend.«
