Sukta 4.17
एवा न इन्द्रो मघवा विरप्शी करत्सत्या चर्षणीधृदनर्वा । त्वं राजा जनुषां धेह्यस्मे अधि श्रवो माहिनं यज्जरित्रे ॥
evā́ na índro maghávā virapśī́ karat satyā́ carṣaṇīdhṛ́d anárvā | tváṃ rājā́ jánūṣāṃ dhehy asmè ádhi śrávo mā́hinaṃ yáj jaritré ||
So möge Indra, der freigebige Maghavan, uns weites, wirkmächtiges Tun bereiten – wahrhaft, die Völker tragend, unfehlbar. Du bist König der Geburten; lege in uns Ruhm und Größe, die oben stehen – dem Sänger zugut.
