Sukta 4.17
त्राता नो बोधि ददृशान आपिरभिख्याता मर्डिता सोम्यानाम् । सखा पिता पितृतमः पितॄणां कर्तेमु लोकमुशते वयोधाः ॥
trātā́ no bodhi dádṛśāna ā́pir abhikhyātā́ marḍitā́ somyā́nām | sákhā pitā́ pitṛ́tamaḥ pitṝṇā́ṃ kartém u lokám uśaté vayodhā́ḥ ||
Sei uns Retter, o Allsehender; sei naher Freund, wohlbekannt, Heiler der Somaleute. Freund und Vater, der väterlichste der Väter, Schöpfer der Welt — setze dem Begehrenden die Lebenskraft ein.
