Sukta 4.17
समिन्द्रो गा अजयत्सं हिरण्या समश्विया मघवा यो ह पूर्वीः । एभिर्नृभिर्नृतमो अस्य शाकै रायो विभक्ता सम्भरश्च वस्वः ॥
sám índro gā́ ajayat sáṃ híraṇyā sáṃ aśviyā́ maghávā yó ha pūrvī́ḥ | ébhir nṛ́bhir nṛ́tamo asya śākái rāyó vibhaktā́ sambháraś ca vásvaḥ ||
Gemeinsam gewann Indra die Gās, gemeinsam die goldene Fülle, gemeinsam die Rossekräfte — er, der Freigebige, von alters her. Mit diesen Männern, der Männlichste durch seine Stärken, ist er der Verteiler der Reichtümer und der Sammler des wahren Gutes des Seins.
