Sukta 4.17
अयं शृण्वे अध जयन्नुत घ्नन्नयमुत प्र कृणुते युधा गाः । यदा सत्यं कृणुते मन्युमिन्द्रो विश्वं दृळ्हं भयत एजदस्मात् ॥
ayáṃ śṛṇve ádha jáyann utá ghnann ayám utá prá kṛṇute yudhā́ gā́ḥ | yadā́ satyáṃ kṛṇuté manyúm índro víśvaṃ dṛḷháṃ bhayate éjad asmāt ||
Man hört ihn — dann siegt er und schlägt; er erringt im Kampf die Gās, die Strahlen. Wenn Indra seinen Zorn zur wahrhaften Kraft macht, erbebt alles Feste in Furcht vor ihm.
