मरुत्वाँ इन्द्र वृषभो रणाय पिबा सोममनुष्वधं मदाय । आ सिञ्चस्व जठरे मध्व ऊर्मिं त्वं राजासि प्रदिवः सुतानाम् ॥
marutvā́m̐ indra vṛṣabhó ráṇāya píbā sómam anu-svadháṁ mádāya | ā́ siñcasva jaṭháre mádhva ū́rmiṁ tváṁ rājā́si prá-divaḥ sutā́nām ||
O Indra mit den Maruts, Stier der Schlacht, trink den Soma nach deinem Wohlgefallen, zur Trunkenheit des Rausches. Gieß in deinen Bauch die Woge honigsüßer Süße; du bist König der ausgepressten Tränke im vorderen Himmel.
