Sukta 3.33
प्रवाच्यं शश्वधा वीर्यं तदिन्द्रस्य कर्म यदहिं विवृश्चत् । वि वज्रेण परिषदो जघानायन्नापोऽयनमिच्छमानाः ॥
pravā́cyaṃ śaśvadhā́ vī́ryaṃ tád índrasya kárma yád áhiṃ vivṛścát | ví vájreṇa paríṣado jaghānā́yann ā́po áyanam icchámānāḥ ||
Immer wieder zu verkünden ist jene heldische Kraft — Indras Tat — als er die Schlange zerschnitt. Mit dem Donnerkeil erschlug er die umschließenden Sitze des Widerstands; da traten die Wasser hervor, nach ihrem Weg verlangend, ihren freien Lauf suchend.
