स तेजीयसा मनसा त्वोत उत शिक्ष स्वपत्यस्य शिक्षोः । अग्ने रायो नृतमस्य प्रभूतौ भूयाम ते सुष्टुतयश्च वस्वः ॥

sá tejī́yasā mánasā tvāū́ta utá śíkṣa svapatyásya śíkṣoḥ | ágne rāyó nṛ́tamasya prábhūtau bhūyā́ma te suṣṭutáyaś ca vásvaḥ ||

Mit schärferem Geist, von dir getragen, mögen wir lernen – lernen die Meisterschaft über das eigene Sein. O Agni, in der Überfülle des Reichtums der mannhaftesten Macht mögen wir deine rechten Lobpreiser werden, o Spender von Gut, und in jene Fülle hineinwachsen.
