इममञ्जस्पामुभये अकृण्वत धर्माणमग्निं विदथस्य साधनम् । अक्तुं न यह्वमुषसः पुरोहितं तनूनपातमरुषस्य निंसते ॥

Transliteration

imám añjaspā́m ubháye akṛṇvata dharmā́ṇam agníṃ vidáthasya sā́dhanam | aktúṃ na yahvám uṣásaḥ puróhitaṃ tanūnapātam aruṣásya niṃsate ||

Translation

Diesen Agni, schnell im Salben mit Glanz, haben beide (Himmel und Erde / beide Seiten) zum Träger des Dharma gemacht, zum Vollender der Vidatha (der heiligen Versammlung). Wie ein nächtliches Feuer wird der Stürmische von den Uṣas (Dämmerungen) vorausgestellt; Tanūnapāt, des Rötlichen, wird eingesetzt.
