अप हत रक्षसो भङ्गुरावत स्कभायत निॠतिं सेधतामतिम् । आ नो रयिं सर्ववीरं सुनोतन देवाव्यं भरत श्लोकमद्रयः ॥

Transliteration

ápa hata rakṣáso bhaṅgurā́vat skabhā́yata nírṛtiṃ sédhatā́matim | ā́ no rayíṃ sárvavīraṃ sunotana devā́vyaṃ bharata ślókam adrayaḥ ||

Translation

Schlagt die Rākṣasas hinweg, die Zerstörer der Ordnung; stemmt sie ab, treibt Nirṛti fort, zügelt die Krümmung des Sinnes. Preßt uns den rayi aus, den allheldischen Reichtum; bringt gottbehüteten Ruhm, o Presssteine (adrayaḥ). So wehre unser inneres Opfer die Finsternis ab und gründe sieghaften Bestand.
