प्र तेऽरदद्वरुणो यातवे पथः सिन्धो यद्वाजाँ अभ्यद्रवस्त्वम् । भूम्या अधि प्रवता यासि सानुना यदेषामग्रं जगतामिरज्यसि ॥
prá te ’radad váruṇo yā́tave páthaḥ síndho yád vājā́ṃ abhy-ádravas tvám | bhū́myā ádhi prá-vatā yā́si sā́nunā yád eṣā́m ágraṃ jágatām irajyási ||
Varuṇa bahnte dir die Wege zum Gehen, o Sindhu, als du zu den Füllen der Kraft dahinstürmtest. Von der Erde her ziehst du über Hänge und Rücken dahin, wenn du an der Spitze dieser sich bewegenden Welten schreitest und ihren Vorstoß führst.
