Transliteration

aśvā́d iyā́ya-íti yád vádanty ójaso jātám utá manye énam | mányor iyā́ya hármyeṣu tasthau yátaḥ prajajñé índro asya veda ||

Translation

Man sagt: »Vom Pferd her kam er«; aus Macht geboren — so halte ich ihn. Aus Manyu (Willenskraft) kam er und stand in den inneren Gemächern; woher er geboren ward — diesen Ursprung kennt Indra.
