भूर्जज्ञ उत्तानपदो भुव आशा अजायन्त । अदितेर्दक्षो अजायत दक्षाद्वदितिः परि ॥
Transliteration
bhū́r jajñe uttāná-pado bhúva āśā́ ajāyanta | ádite r dákṣo ajāyata dákṣād v áditiḥ pári ||
Translation
Die Erde wurde geboren mit weit ausschreitenden Grundlagen; der Mittelraum trat hervor, und die Himmelsrichtungen des Strebens wurden geboren. Aus Aditi entstand Dakṣa, und aus Dakṣa wiederum Aditi – die Unbegrenzte, die im Kreis zurückkehrt.
