देवानां युगे प्रथमेऽसतः सदजायत । तदाशा अन्वजायन्त तदुत्तानपदस्परि ॥
Transliteration
devā́nāṃ yugé prathamé 'sataḥ sád ajāyata | tád āśā́ ánv ajāyanta tád uttāná-padas pári ||
Translation
Im ersten Yuga der Götter wurde Sein aus Nichtsein geboren. Dann wurden die Richtungen des Strebens geboren, dann die weit ausschreitenden Grundlagen ringsum, auf denen die Welt stehen konnte.
