Sukta 10.48
प्र मे नमी साप्य इषे भुजे भूद्गवामेषे सख्या कृणुत द्विता । दिद्युं यदस्य समिथेषु मंहयमादिदेनं शंस्यमुक्थ्यं करम् ॥
prá me námī sāpyá íṣe bhujé bhūd gávām éṣe sakhyā́ kṛṇuta dvitā́ | didyúṃ yád asya samithéṣu maṃháyam ā́d íd enaṃ śáṃsyaṃ ukthyàṃ karam ||
Vor mir zog Namī, der Gefährte, voran — zu Antrieb und Genuss; er stiftete aufs Neue die Freundschaft im Suchen nach den lichtvollen Strahlen. Als ich in den Schlachten seine Blitzkraft steigerte, da machte ich ihn preiswürdig, zu besingen und im Lobgesang zu verkünden.
