गिरीँरज्रान्रेजमानाँ अधारयद्द्यौः क्रन्ददन्तरिक्षाणि कोपयत् । समीचीने धिषणे वि ष्कभायति वृष्णः पीत्वा मद उक्थानि शंसति ॥

Transliteration

girī́ṁr ajrā́n rejámānāṁ adhārayad dyáuḥ krándad antárikṣāṇi kopayat | samīcīné dhiṣáṇe ví ṣkabhāyati vṛ́ṣṇaḥ pītvā́ máda ukthā́ni śaṃsati ||

Translation

Er hielt die bebenden Berge und die zitternden Grate; der Himmel selbst schrie auf, und die Zwischenräume gerieten in Aufruhr. In den harmonisierten Zwillingskräften der Inspiration (dhiṣaṇe) richtet er eine weite, feste Stütze auf; der Stier, nachdem er den Rausch getrunken, verkündet die Hymnen des Wortes (ukthāni).
