य उदानड्व्ययनं य उदानट् परायणम् । आवर्तनं निवर्तनमपि गोपा नि वर्तताम् ॥
Transliteration
yá udānáḍ vyáyanaṃ yá udānáṭ parā́yaṇam | āvártanam nivártanam ápi gopā́ ní vartatām ||
Translation
Der, der hinaufgestiegen ist in die sich weitenden Wege, der, der hinaufgestiegen ist in das Fern-Hingehen — im Wenden und im Wiederkehren: auch der Hüter, der Gopa, möge zurückkehren und hier gegenwärtig sein.
