Sukta 10.132
ता वां मित्रावरुणा धारयत्क्षिती सुषुम्नेषितत्वता यजामसि । युवोः क्राणाय सख्यैरभि ष्याम रक्षसः ॥
tā́ vāṃ mitrā́varuṇā dhāráyatkṣitī́ suṣumnéṣitatvatā́ yajāmasi | yuvóḥ krāṇā́ya sakhyáir abhí ṣyāma rákṣasaḥ ||
Euch beide, Mitra und Varuṇa, die ihr die Welten tragt, verehren wir, angetrieben von eurer gnadenreichen Gunst. Durch eure Freundschaft und stärkende Kraft mögen wir die Rakṣas — Mächte der Verzerrung und Finsternis — überwinden.
