Transliteration

nū́ ca purā́ ca sádanam rayīṇā́ṃ jā́tasya ca jā́yamānasya ca kṣā́m | satáś ca gopā́m bhávataś ca bhū́rer devā́ agníṃ dhārayann draviṇo-dā́m ||

Translation

Nun und von alters her hielten die Götter Agni, den Spender der Fülle, aufrecht als inneren Sitz aller Glücksgüter — dessen, was in uns schon geboren ist, und dessen, was noch geboren wird; als Hüter des Feldes des Daseins, des Wahren und der weiten, maßlos wachsenden Fülle.
