Sukta 1.80
इन्द्र तुभ्यमिदद्रिवोऽनुत्तं वज्रिन्वीर्यम् । यद्ध त्यं मायिनं मृगं तमु त्वं माययावधीरर्चन्ननु स्वराज्यम् ॥
índra túbhyam íd adri-vo ’nuttáṃ vajrin vī́ryam | yád dha tyáṃ māyínaṃ mṛgáṃ tám u tváṃ māyáyāvadhīr ’rcann ánu sva-rā́jyam ||
O Indra, für dich, o Steinträger (adrivo), ist jene unübertreffliche Heldenkraft, die des Vajra würdig: dass du durch deine eigene Māyā den māyin, das trügerische Tier, erschlugst—leuchtend im Gefolge deiner Selbstherrschaft (svarājya).
