Sukta 1.40
उत्तिष्ठ ब्रह्मणस्पते देवयन्तस्त्वेमहे । उप प्र यन्तु मरुतः सुदानव इन्द्र प्राशूर्भवा सचा ॥
uttíṣṭha brahmaṇaspate deva-yántaḥ tvemáhe | úpa prá yantu marútaḥ su-dā́nava índra prāśū́r bhavā sácā ||
Erhebe dich, o Brahmaṇaspati, Herr des Wortes; wir, die nach dem Göttlichen verlangen, rufen dich an. Heran mögen die Maruts kommen, die freigebigen Spender; und du, o Indra, sei unser schneller Antreiber, mit uns im Zug des Opfers.
