Sukta 1.148
न यं रिपवो न रिषण्यवो गर्भे सन्तं रेषणा रेषयन्ति । अन्धा अपश्या न दभन्नभिख्या नित्यास ईं प्रेतारो अरक्षन् ॥
ná yaṃ ripávo ná riṣaṇyávo gárbhe sántam reṣaṇā́ reṣáyanti | andhā́ apaśyā́ ná dabhan abhikhyā́ nítyāsa īṃ pretā́ro arakṣan ||
Weder Feinde noch Angreifer können ihn verwunden, solange er im Schoß ist; die Schädiger schädigen ihn nicht. Blind, ohne zu sehen, gewinnen sie nicht durch ihr Ausspähen; die ewigen Hüter haben ihn behütet in seinem Voranschreiten.
