ओ षू णो अग्ने शृणुहि त्वमीळितो देवेभ्यो ब्रवसि यज्ञियेभ्यो राजभ्यो यज्ञियेभ्यः । यद्ध त्यामङ्गिरोभ्यो धेनुं देवा अदत्तन । वि तां दुह्रे अर्यमा कर्तरी सचाँ एष तां वेद मे सचा ॥
ó ṣū́ ṇo agne śṛṇuhi tvám īḷitó devébhyo bravasi yajñíyebhyo rā́jabhyo yajñíyebhyaḥ | yád dha tyā́m áṅgirobhyo dhenúṃ devā́ adattana | ví tāṃ duhre aryamā́ kartárī sacā́ṃ eṣá tāṃ veda mé sacā́ ||
O ja, Agni, höre uns — du, der Angerufene, sprichst für die Götter, für die opferwürdigen Könige. Als die Götter jene Kuh den Aṅgiras gaben, da melkt Aryaman sie aus im Werk, in enger Gemeinschaft. Dieser kennt sie, mit mir in Gemeinschaft.
