वृषन्निन्द्र वृषपाणास इन्दव इमे सुता अद्रिषुतास उद्भिदस्तुभ्यं सुतास उद्भिदः । ते त्वा मन्दन्तु दावने महे चित्राय राधसे । गीर्भिर्गिर्वाहः स्तवमान आ गहि सुमृळीको न आ गहि ॥
vṛ́ṣann indra vṛṣa-pā́ṇāsa índava imé sutā́ ádri-sutāsa udbhídaḥ túbhyaṃ sutā́sa udbhídaḥ | té tvā mandantu dā́vane mahé citrā́ya rā́dhase | gī́rbhir girvāhaḥ stávamāna ā́ gahi su-mṛḷī́ko na ā́ gahi ||
O Stier Indra! Diese Soma-Tropfen, stierkräftig im Trank, vom Stein gepresst, die Höhen aufbrechend, sind für dich gepresst, die Höhen aufbrechend. Sie sollen dich erfreuen zum Geben, zu großem, vielfarbigem Reichtum. Mit unseren inspirierten Worten, o Sängerträger, gepriesen, komm; gnädig komm zu uns.
