Sukta 1.122

Devata: Pūṣan (and Agni as source of vasu); with Auśija as ritual agent

आ वो रुवण्युमौशिजो हुवध्यै घोषेव शंसमर्जुनस्य नंशे । प्र वः पूष्णे दावन आँ अच्छा वोचेय वसुतातिमग्नेः ॥

Transliteration

ā́ vo ruvaṇyúm auśíjo huvádhyai ghóṣeva śáṃsam árjunasya náṃśe | prá vaḥ pūṣṇé dā́vane ā́ ácchā voceya vasutā́tim agnéḥ ||

Translation

Zu euch bringe ich den tönenden Ruf des Strebens, damit der Auśija anrufen kann — wie ein klarer Zuruf, eine Verkündigung, die ihren Anteil erreicht. Und für euch werde ich zu Pūṣan, dem Geber, geradewegs zu ihm, das Erlangen der Reichtümer Agnis aussprechen — die festen Schätze des Seelenfeuers.
