उन्मा॑दयत मरुत॒ उद॑न्तरिक्ष मादय । अग्न॒ उन्मा॑दया॒ त्वम॒सौ मामनु॑ शोचतु

únmādayata marúta úd antárikṣaṃ mādaya | ág­ne únmādaya tvám asáu mām ánu śocatu

English Translation (Griffith/Whitney)

Madden him, O Maruts; intoxicate the mid-air. O Agni, do thou madden him: let yonder one burn after me.

Translation

Macht ihn rasend, o Maruts; berauscht den Luftraum dazwischen. O Agni, mache auch du ihn rasend: jener soll nach mir schmachten und in Sehnsucht verzehren.
