इह चेदवेदीदथ सत्यमस्ति न चेदीहावेदीन्महती विनष्टिः । भूतेषु भूतेषु विचित्य धीराः प्रेत्यास्माल्लोकादमृता भवन्ति ॥५॥
इह । चेत् । अवेदीत् । अथ । सत्यम् । अस्ति । न । चेत् । इह । अवेदीत् । महती । विनष्टिः । भूतेषु । भूतेषु । विचित्य । धीराः । प्रेत्य । अस्मात् । लोकात् । अमृताः । भवन्ति ॥५॥
iha ced avedīd atha satyam asti na ced ihāvedīn mahatī vinaṣṭiḥ | bhūteṣu bhūteṣu vicitya dhīrāḥ pretyāsmāl lokād amṛtā bhavanti ||5||
若人在此世已证知“彼”(真如实相),则所求真实成就;若在此世未证知,则有重大损失。智者于一切众生之中辨识“彼”,离此世间之后,得成不死。
If one has known (That) here, then it is true (i.e., the aim is fulfilled). If one has not known (It) here, there is great loss. Having discerned (That) in each and every being, the wise, departing from this world, become immortal.
