Soma Pavamāna (purifying Soma)
这首简短的《Pavamāna》赞歌颂扬苏摩穿越滤器（pavitra）奔涌而下，与宏大的宇宙正法（ṛtam bṛhat）相契合，并粉碎阻碍之力（rakṣas／vighna）。诗中亦描绘经典意象：苏摩由“十位少女”（指手指／制备时的水流）洗涤净化，因而变得甘美，适合献给因陀罗与毗湿奴。末尾以护佑之祈作结：愿净化后的苏摩守护歌者，免于罪过与困厄。

परि सोम ऋतं बृहदाशुः पवित्रे अर्षति । विघ्नन्रक्षांसि देवयुः ॥
苏摩（Soma）迅疾环绕那广大之真理（ṛtáṃ bṛhát），穿行于净滤之器（pavitra）；摧破诸障与诸护卫之力——因他乃求神者（devayú）。

यत्सोमो वाजमर्षति शतं धारा अपस्युवः । इन्द्रस्य सख्यमाविशन् ॥
当苏摩（Soma）奔流趋向力之丰盈（vāja）之时，他那百道勤作的流注，进入因陀罗（Indra）的友契与同盟。

अभि त्वा योषणो दश जारं न कन्यानूषत । मृज्यसे सोम सातये ॥
十位少女——喜悦之女——如趋向情郎般向你迫近；为求真实之得胜，你被洁净，噢苏摩（Soma）。

त्वमिन्द्राय विष्णवे स्वादुरिन्दो परि स्रव । नॄन्त्स्तोतॄन्पाह्यंहसः ॥
噢因杜（Indu），为因陀罗（Indra）与毗湿奴（Viṣṇu）而甘美地环流吧；护佑我等之人——歌者——免于困厄与罪咎。
