अभिक्रन्दन्कलशं वाज्यर्षति पतिर्दिवः शतधारो विचक्षणः । हरिर्मित्रस्य सदनेषु सीदति मर्मृजानोऽविभिः सिन्धुभिर्वृषा ॥
abhikrन्दán kalaśáṃ vājī́ arṣati pátir diváḥ śatá-dhāro vi-cakṣaṇáḥ | hárir mitrásya sádanēṣu sīdati marmṛjānó ’vi-bhiḥ síndhu-bhir vṛ́ṣā ||
Cất tiếng kêu vang, đấng thúc đẩy tuôn về chén—chúa tể bầu trời, trăm dòng, bậc thấy biết. Soma sắc vàng nâu an tọa nơi các tòa của Mitra; được chà rửa tinh sạch bởi lông cừu và các dòng sông—một sức mạnh sinh thành hùng tráng.
