Sukta 7.86
पृच्छे तदेनो वरुण दिदृक्षूपो एमि चिकितुषो विपृच्छम् । समानमिन्मे कवयश्चिदाहुरयं ह तुभ्यं वरुणो हृणीते ॥
pṛ́cche tád éno váruṇa didṛ́kṣū́po émi cikítuṣo ví-pṛccham | samānám ín me kaváyaś cid āhur ayáṃ ha túbhyaṃ váruṇo hṛṇīte ||
Ta hỏi về lỗi ấy, hỡi Varuṇa, mong thấy cho tỏ tường; ta đến gần để vấn hỏi người hiểu biết, xin được phân minh. Các bậc hiền triết cũng nói với ta cùng một lời: “Chính Varuṇa này quả đã phẫn nộ với ngươi.”
