इदा हि ते वेविषतः पुराजाः प्रत्नास आसुः पुरुकृत्सखायः । ये मध्यमास उत नूतनास उतावमस्य पुरुहूत बोधि ॥

idā hi te veviṣataḥ purājāḥ pratnāsa āsuḥ puru-kṛt sakhāyaḥ | ye madyamāsa uta nūtanāsa uta avamasya puruhūta bodhi ||

Vì ngay cả bây giờ, những bạn hữu hăng hái của Ngài vẫn hiện hữu—những đồng minh sinh từ thuở xưa, những người bạn làm nên nhiều công việc. Kẻ thuộc thời trung, kẻ mới đến, và cả kẻ ở thời sau rốt: xin Ngài hãy nhận biết họ, hỡi Đấng được khẩn cầu muôn lần (puruhūta).
