Sukta 4.28
अहन्निन्द्रो अदहदग्निरिन्दो पुरा दस्यून्मध्यंदिनादभीके । दुर्गे दुरोणे क्रत्वा न यातां पुरू सहस्रा शर्वा नि बर्हीत् ॥
áhann índro ádahad agnír índo purā́ dásyūn madhyándinād abhī́ke | dúrge duróṇe kratvā́ ná yātā́ṃ purū́ sahásrā śárvā ní barhīt ||
Hỡi Indu, Indra đã giết, Agni đã thiêu, những Dasyu (Dasyu) thuở xưa—ngay từ giữa trưa, trong trận chiến cận kề. Ở đèo hiểm, trong chốn khó ở, những kẻ không tiến bước theo ý chí chân chính (kratu) bị quật ngã; muôn ngàn mũi tên thù địch bị làm cho rơi xuống—để con đường của linh hồn được khai quang cho cuộc hành trình đúng đắn.
