प्रदक्षिणिदभि गृणन्ति कारवो वयो वदन्त ऋतुथा शकुन्तयः । उभे वाचौ वदति सामगा इव गायत्रं च त्रैष्टुभं चानु राजति ॥

pradakṣiṇíd abhi gṛṇanti kārávo váyo vádanta ṛtuthā́ śakúntayaḥ | ubhé vā́cau vadati sāmagā́ iva gāyatráṃ ca traíṣṭubhaṃ cā́nu rājati ||

Theo lộ trình vòng phải cát tường, các ca sĩ cất lời tán tụng; chim muông, nói theo mùa, theo trật tự Chân lý (ṛta), thốt ra những dấu hiệu của mình. Nó nói bằng cả hai giọng, như người xướng tụng Sāman; nó rực sáng, thuận theo cả nhịp Gāyatrī và Triṣṭubh.
