Transliteration

evam uktas tadā rudro bhaviṣyair nāmabhir bhavaḥ || kapālaśabdāt kupitas tacchiro vicakartta ha ||

Translation

یوں مخاطب کیے جانے پر رودر—بھَو—کو اُن ناموں سے پکارا گیا جو آئندہ زمانوں میں معروف ہونے والے تھے۔ ‘کپال’ کے لفظ پر وہ غضبناک ہوا اور روایت کے مطابق اُس نے وہ سر کاٹ ڈالا۔
