Description of the Threefold Goddess-Power and Brahmā’s Hymn to Sṛṣṭi
tvaṁ svāhā tvaṁ svadhā devi tvam utpattir varānane | tvam oṅkāra-sthitā devi vedotpattis tvam eva ca ||
Varāha (default dialogue frame)
It reflects a Purāṇic synthesis where ritual speech-acts (svāhā/svadhā) and sacred phoneme theory (oṁkāra) are linked to the authority and emergence of Vedic tradition.
No geographic location is named in this verse; the focus is ritual and cosmological.
The verse emphasizes reverence for disciplined speech and ritual order as foundations of knowledge and tradition, presented as a philosophical principle rather than a prescriptive command.
