Brahmā–Viṣṇu–Rudra
अगस्त्य उवाच । भवान् ब्रह्मा च विष्णुश्च त्रयमेतत् त्रयी स्मृता । दीपोऽग्निर्दोपसंयोगैः सर्वशास्त्रेषु सर्वतः ॥ ७२.२ ॥
agastya uvāca | bhavān brahmā ca viṣṇuś ca trayam etat trayī smṛtā | dīpo 'gnir dopa-saṃyogaiḥ sarva-śāstreṣu sarvataḥ || 72.2 ||
اگستیہ نے کہا: آپ، برہما اور وِشنو—یہ تثلیث ‘تریئی’ کے نام سے یاد کی جاتی ہے۔ جیسے چراغ اپنے اجزاء کے اتصال سے آگ کے ذریعے روشن ہوتا ہے، اسی طرح یہ اصول تمام شاستروں میں ہر جگہ بیان ہوا ہے۔
