तमभ्यर्च्य विधानॆन गन्धपुष्पादिभिः क्रमात् । प्राग्वत् तं ब्राह्मणे दद्यात् वेदवादिनि सुव्रते । एवं नियमयुक्तस्य यत्पुण्यं तच्छृणुष्व मे ॥ ४६.५ ॥

tam abhyarcya vidhānena gandhapuṣpādibhiḥ kramāt | prāgvat taṃ brāhmaṇe dadyād vedavādini suvrate | evaṃ niyamayuktasya yatpuṇyaṃ tac chṛṇuṣva me || 46.5 ||

مقررہ طریقے کے مطابق بتدریج خوشبو، پھول وغیرہ سے اس کی عبادت کرکے، جیسا پہلے کہا گیا ہے، اس (دان) کو وید پڑھنے والے اور نیک ورت رکھنے والے برہمن کو دینا چاہیے۔ ایسے ضابطۂ عبادت والے کو جو پُنّیہ ملتا ہے، وہ مجھ سے سنو۔
