एतत्सर्वं च पञ्चम्यां तेषां जातं महात्मनाम् । अतस्त्वियं तिथिर्धन्या सर्वपापहरा शुभा ॥ २४.३२ ॥

یہ سب کچھ اُن عظیم النفسوں کے ساتھ پنچمی تِتھی کو ہوا؛ اسی لیے یہ تِتھی مبارک، نیک اور تمام گناہوں کو دور کرنے والی کہی گئی ہے۔
