नाहं दानसहस्रेण नाहं यज्ञशतैरपि ॥ तुष्यामि न तु वित्तेन ये नराः स्वल्पचेतसः
nāhaṃ dānasahasreṇa nāhaṃ yajñaśatair api || tuṣyāmi na tu vittena ye narāḥ svalpacetasaḥ
میں ہزار دانوں سے بھی خوش نہیں ہوتا، نہ سو یَجْنوں سے؛ اور نہ ہی مال و دولت سے—جس کے پیچھے کم فہم لوگ لگے رہتے ہیں۔
