Skanda Upanishad 10: Verse 10

यथान्तरं न भेदाः स्युः शिवकेशवयोस्तथा । देहो देवालयः प्रोक्तः स जीवः केवलः शिवः ॥१०॥

IAST Transliteration

yathāntaraṃ na bhedāḥ syuḥ śiva-keśavayostathā | deho devālayaḥ proktaḥ sa jīvaḥ kevalaḥ śivaḥ ||10||

Translation

جس طرح شِو اور کیشوَ کے بیچ اندرونی طور پر کوئی امتیاز نہیں، اسی طرح یہ بدن دیوالیۂ خدا (معبدِ الٰہی) کہا گیا ہے؛ اور یہ جیو (فردی آتما) محض شِو ہی ہے۔

Academic Translation

Just as there would be no differences within Śiva and Keśava, so (too) the body is declared to be a temple of God; that individual self (jīva) is solely Śiva.
