Atma Upanishad: Verse 8
तद्वद्ब्रह्मविदोऽप्यस्य ब्रह्माहमिति वेदनम् । भानुनेव जगत्सर्वं भास्यते यस्य तेजसा ॥८॥
तद्वत् । ब्रह्म-विदः । अपि । अस्य । ब्रह्म । अहम् । इति । वेदनम् । भानुना । इव । जगत् । सर्वम् । भास्यते । यस्य । तेजसा ॥
tadvat brahmavido’py asya brahmāham iti vedanam | bhānuneva jagat sarvaṃ bhāsyate yasya tejasā ||8||
اسی طرح برہمن کے جاننے والے کے لیے “میں برہمن ہوں” یہ ادراک بھی فوری اور بے نیاز ہے۔ جس کے تیج سے، جیسے سورج سے، سارا جگت روشن ہوتا ہے، اسی کے نور سے یہ کُل کائنات منور ہے۔
So too, for the knower of Brahman, this knowledge—“I am Brahman”—(is independent/immediate). Like (the world) by the sun, the entire universe is illumined by whose radiance.
