सोमो मीढ्वान्पवते गातुवित्तम ऋषिर्विप्रो विचक्षणः । त्वं कविरभवो देववीतम आ सूर्यं रोहयो दिवि ॥
Transliteration
sómō mīḍhvā́n pavate gātuvít-tamaḥ ṛ́ṣir vípro vi-cákṣaṇaḥ | tváṃ kavír abhavo deva-vī́tamaḥ ā́ sū́ryaṃ rohayo diví ||
Translation
سوما، دینے میں دولت مند، بہتی ہے - راستے کا بہترین ڈھونڈنے والا - عارف اور الہامی، وسیع ناظر۔ تو شاعر بن گیا ہے، دیوتاؤں کا سب سے زیادہ پسندیدہ؛ تو سورج کو آسمان میں چڑھاتا ہے۔
