Transliteration

hīno bhrātrā ca pitrā ca śūnyām ikṣvākupālitām | ayodhyāṃ na pravekṣyāmi pravekṣyāmi tapovanam ||

Translation

بھائی اور پتا دونوں سے محروم ہو کر، اِکشواکو کی راج دھانی ایودھیا اب سنسان ہے؛ میں اس میں پرَوِش نہیں کروں گا، میں تپسیا کے ون میں پرَوِش کروں گا۔
