With these words said to the charioteer, Bharata, having seen such ominous sights in Ayodhya, proceeded to the king's palace with a depressed heart.
Dharma demands responsible inquiry and action; Bharata does not ignore signs of disorder but moves toward the seat of authority to understand and respond.
After describing Ayodhya’s ominous atmosphere, the narration shifts to Bharata’s movement toward the palace.
Seriousness and duty-mindedness—Bharata advances with a heavy heart to confront the reality of the crisis.
